1. Is this site really free? Yes it is. We've added advertising, valuable products and even a donation button as our sources of revenue. For our users, the site is free. 2. How do I use this site? Use our database to begin your foreclosure research by scanning through to see the properties you are interested in. Click on the top of the different columns to sort by that category. For example if you want to search only for properties in Bethel Park then click on City, and scroll down until you get to Bethel Park. You can do this for any category. 3. Can I see what mortgage's are against the property? Only the Judgement amount is published. We highly suggest you order a title report for properties that you are interested in, before you go to the Auction. 4. I'm interested in Bank Owned properties, how do I find out about these? Bank owned or (REO) - you can use our list and then follow the auction, see if the bank (or attorney for the bank) buys it back, then you can go directly to the bank and see if you can work a deal. Call the attorney on the summary page and see what bank they are representing, ask who the contact is at the bank. Once the sale is complete, nothing is public, so you have to keep track on your own. The more you talk to the attorneys and build a list of contacts at the banks, you will be able to keep up and get in early on the bank owned properties (REO). 5. How do I find out about Pre-Foreclosure properties? Check with the Prothonatary's office and ask for information on Notice of Defaults. You will have to go to their office and look at the filings. Call them first, to find out the procedures. |
